SegmintAlert

Using SegmintAlert, financial institutions can monitor triggers in real time that identify both potential issues and potential opportunities with their customers.

SegmintAlert can:

  • monitoring changes in total and/or average collected balances over time
  • identify specific deposit or withdrawals over a preset amount or percentage
  • track changes in account behavior (minimum balances, overdrafts, etc.)

The bank employee can set up specific actions that they want the system to take based on any of the above actions. The bank can be notified when any of the items above happen and/or previously set up banners can be displayed to the customer.

An example:

The bank’s dilemma:
Bank A wants to automatically offer overdraft protection to customers whose average collected balance drops below $100.

Segmint’s solution:
The Bank employee sets up a triggered campaign in the Segmint system to display a banner to any customer who does not currently have overdraft protection and whose balance drops below $100.

Another potential scenario is that over time a customer’s average collected balance increases over a pre-set threshold. This threshold would allow the customer to switch into an interest-bearing checking account from a non-interest-bearing account. The Bank could have set up an automatic banner ad for any customer whose average collected balance exceeds the threshold for two consecutive months.

SegmintFAQs

let’s clear some things up...

Q:

Will customers have any choice as to what offers they receive?

A:

The Segmint system makes recommendations of offers based on the KLIs of individual customers. Financial institutions must approve these suggestions prior to the offers being presented to customers on their site. Because Segmint does not interact directly with consumers or know what data records belong to which consumer, Segmint does not have a process by which consumers can select to receive or decline offers.
